Documenting the journey.
@DrRitaDed As a CA Realtor, $180k in the Bay Area doesn't even qualify you for a starter home mortgage. This policy would literally tax the middle class into poverty.
@DrRitaDed Some business owners hit $180k by February. So they shut down for 10 months. Now their 20 employees have no job either. Who did the redistribution help exactly?
@DrRitaDed 100% tax at $180k means every doctor, engineer, and small business owner stops working at $179,999. Who exactly is left to redistribute from?
@farzyness When Elon, Trump, and Andrew Yang all arrive at the same answer, that's not a coincidence. That's a warning. The question isn't if free money is coming. It's whether you'll build wealth before it makes your skills worthless.
@EricLDaugh As a CA Realtor watching Newsom spend $1.5M of PAC money on his own book while my clients can't afford homes in the state he runs. The audacity is actually impressive.
@hasanthehun Nobody's defending the wealthy. People are defending the principle that taxing productivity harder doesn't make broke people richer. Wealth is built, not redistributed into existence.
@KobeissiLetter As a CA Realtor I tell my clients the same thing about real estate. The ones who waited for the "perfect time" are still waiting. Markets recover. Always have.
