@sarasidnerCNN Sarah, we met at the DNC although briefly. It was too electrifying that night for me to seriously tell you how much I appreciate your courage and faith on your ride to defeat cancer. I’m in your corner and will always keep you lifted in prayer 🙏🏽. Love you my She-ro!!

[Maxwell Leadership @Maxwell_Leaders]

Veterans Day is a day of honor and respect. 'People buy into the leader before they buy into the vision,' as John C. Maxwell wisely stated. Today, we buy into the courage and vision of our veterans, whose leadership and dedication have shaped our nation. #VeteransDay

Republicans just got on planes to go home for the weekend as we approach default on the nation's debt. So, here’s my question: if you're so concerned about "work requirements," how about you show up to do your own job?

[Arne Duncan @arneduncan]

One of our participants was killed today as he left one of our sites. He had just written about how much achieving his HS diploma would mean to him & his family.
Devastated doesn’t describe what we are feeling- please keep his family and our @ChicagoCred family in your prayers.

[Harold Rice @Harold_CEDA]

@arneduncan @ChicagoCred Arne, this is devastating on so many levels. I was just speaking with my colleague in Fresno, CA on how they’ve lowered their gang shootings by 40%. I hope to see if there are some applicable lessons learned, then share.

[Illinois Comptroller @ILComptroller]

Just in: I'm excited to announce a $350 million transfer to our Rainy Day Fund. In addition, our total accounts payable have hit a new low of $478 million, the lowest since July 2008 and surpassing our previous record just days ago! #twill

Thank you to the legislators who passed this bill out of committee, supporting Chicago police officers disabled by COVID in the days before vaccines were available. I look forward to the measure's success so that these officers get the benefits they rightfully deserve. #twill

@RamsNFL @AaronDonald97 @CBSTweet Man, I started tearing up when your dad saw the change. Man, I love you as a Super Bowl Champ, but I love you more as “Super Son Champ”! Thanks for showing the respect for the someone who was a big influence in your life. This topped watching you win the Super Bowl.
