Bulls continued their stampede at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) climbing more than 1,700 points in intraday trade to reach an all-time high of 78,445 points.

The positivity is due to the “dovish outlook” of Fitch Ratings for the country.

عید کے موقع پر کوئٹہ سے متصل شعبان کے علاقے میں پکنک منانے آئے 14 افراد کو نامعلوم دہشتگردوں کی جانب سے اغوا کر لیا گیا، جن میں شناختی کارڈ چیک کرنے کے بعد چار افراد کو رہا کر دیا گیا جبکہ 10 افراد کو نامعلوم مقام پر لے کر چلے گئے، جن میں ایک شخص کا تعلق پاکستان کسٹم سے ہے اور تمام افراد پنجاب کے رہائشی ہیں۔

یہاں سوال یہ پیدا ہوتا ہے کہ یہ دہشتگرد تنظیم چاہتی کیا ہیں، نا یہ کوئی ترقیاتی منصوبہ مکمل ہونے دیتی ہیں، نا یہ کوئی تقریب مکمل ہونے دیتے ہیں، نا یہ کوئی کاروباری سرگرمی مکمل ہونے دیتے ہیں، نا یہ کسی پنجابی کو بلوچستان میں کام کرنے دیتے ہیں، اور اب یہ بلوچستان میں سیر و تفریح کی غرض سے آئے افراد کو بھی نشانہ بنا رہے ہیں۔

کل جب حالات خراب ہونے ہر ایف سی یا پاک فوج اس مقام پر چیک پوسٹ بنائے گی، یا دہشتگردوں سے تعلقات کے شبہ میں مقامی افراد سے پوچھ گچھ کرے گی تو نام نہاد انسانی حقوق کی تنظیم بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی، حقوق کے استحصال کا راگ الاپنا شروع کردے گی، مگر دہشتگردی کے ان واقعات کی مذمت نہیں کرے گی جو اس کے دوغلے رویے کا مظہر ہے۔

بلوچ قوم اپنے اصل دشمن کو پہچانے جو نا کوئی ترقیاتی منصوبہ مکمل ہونے دیتے ہیں اور نا ہی کوئی کاروباری سرگرمی پایہ تکمیل تک پہنچنے دیتے ہیں، یہی دہشتگرد عناصر دراصل بلوچستان اور بلوچ قوم کے دشمن ہیں۔

Fitch Ratings has predicted a drop in inflation and interest costs in the country during FY25, stated that the inflation will remain at 12%.

⭕️ The rating agency highlighted:
• Government debt looks set to decline to 68% of GDP by FYE24 due to high inflation and deflator effects, offsetting soaring domestic interest costs.

• We expect inflation and interest costs to decline in tandem, with economic growth and primary surpluses driving government debt/GDP gradually lower.

• Forecast the FY25 policy rate at 16%.

• The “ambitious FY25 budget” strengthened Pakistan’s prospects to strike a bailout agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) while expressing doubts whether the government’s fiscal targets will be hit but predicted a drop in the fiscal deficit even if the said budget is only partially implemented.

• The growth rate is expected to remain at 3% in the FY25, despite some improvements in short-term indicators of economic activity.

• Pakistan’s external position has continued to improve since February’s election.

• The current account deficit is on track to narrow to 0.3% of GDP (just USD1 billion) in FY24, from 1.0% in FY23.

• The subdued domestic demand has compressed imports, while exchange rate reforms have attracted remittance inflows back to the official banking system.

• The rating agency also expressed optimism about the economic situation with the help of strong agricultural exports.
