Israeli tour guide, @EveHarow reports that she and other guides toured Solomon’s Pools near Bethlehem ahead of a possible reopening to visitors without military escort.

The ancient three-pool water system, excluded from Israeli control under the Oslo Accords, is now being dated by advanced testing to the Hasmonean era or earlier. The complex once supplied water to Jerusalem and the Temple through a highly sophisticated aqueduct network.

Plans are underway for a new visitors center and archaeological park nearby. Advocates say that if the site were not located in Judea, it would likely already be a UNESCO World Heritage site.

A major step toward restoring access to one of the Land of Israel’s most remarkable ancient sites.

Tucker Carlson, we in Israel have great respect for American patriots, and certainly count your audience among them.
I want to remind you that Israel has never, and will never ask for American boots on the ground.
When our nations confront our shared enemies together, we do so for our common defense. Our joint effort to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear armed state is about preventing war. The Iranian regime calls daily for the destruction of America and Israel, and it is actively pursuing nuclear weapons and delivery mechanisms to make those calls reality.
Americans cannot abide by the specter of a nuclear armed Iran with ICBMs any more than Israelis can accept the prospect of a nuclear armed Iran with intermediate range ballistic missiles or any other delivery mechanism.
Once we block Iran’s path to a nuclear arsenal, and we will block its path to a nuclear arsenal, one way or another, all the nations of the region will rejoice. The ones who will be most relieved, and rejoice the most will be the Iranian people, who love America as much as Israelis do.
(Incidentally, we prefer to be referred to by our actual names, the Jewish people or the Nation of Israel. Jews and Israelis also work.)

Jerusalem Post runs a disgusting frontpage, implying that @AmbDermer is not doing all he can to bring home the remaining hostages.

1) Israel has succeeded to “bring home” 191 of over 250 hostages via operations and negotiations.

2) Israel froze its war on 2 occasions, risking its own war gains to prioritize hostage negotiations.

3) As a member of the war cabinet, and as the Prime Minister’s most-trusted deputy, Dermer has been working tirelessly to run Israel’s top level diplomacy amid the most difficult of circumstances.

4) The war gains thus far, and the war gains to come are helping to secure Israel’s future for years to come. Without Dermer’s continuous efforts, Israel’s strategic position would likely be much worse right now.

5) JPost should be supporting one of our nation’s best and brightest leaders during the war. But alas, like most Israeli media, JPost has committed its pages to delegitimizing PM @netanyahu and his strong, right-wing majority government.

6) JPost has it wrong: 59 Israelis are not counting on Ron Dermer. 10M Israelis are counting on Ron Dermer. And we are fortunate to have him.
