Teachers should be teachable... ministry should never be an opportunity to escape God's dealings... Daily learning from and Obeying God qualifies you daily to bear His Oracle among His people...
When I was Muslim, man, this verse used to mess me up.
Jesus on the cross saying, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
As a Muslim, I used to think: how does God feel forsaken by God? That sounds like weakness. That sounds like a prophet in pain.
But then I dug deeper.
And I realized Jesus was not speaking randomly. He was quoting Psalm 22.
That entire Psalm, written by King David centuries before Christ, is a prophecy about the crucifixion:
“They pierce my hands and feet.”
“They divide my garments among them.”
“All who see me mock me.”
In Jewish culture, quoting the first line of a Psalm pointed people to the entire passage.
So Jesus was not crying out in confusion.
He was declaring fulfillment.
He was saying: “This is that.”
And at the same time, He was carrying the full weight of sin, shame, abandonment, and suffering for humanity.
Every moment humanity has cried out, “God, where are you?” Christ stepped into that pain Himself.
That is not weakness.
That is intentional.
That is prophecy unfolding in real time.
That is the King bleeding on purpose so humanity could be brought near to God.
That is the Gospel.
Bruises heal, but dead men stay dead.
The fallen can still rise, but dead men stay dead.
The prove of life is more than breath.
A hopeless man is just as dead.
Trust in the Lord. Hope In His words.
In trusting, even the dead shall rise again.
Do you believe this?
Mind on the road,
where silence speaks in miles and dust becomes a teacher.
The path is narrow, and the climb is not gentle—
but I keep moving anyway.
Difficult is the way… yet forward is the only direction I know.
@SirEbele They will still come and say "the salvation experience can not be properly compared the marriage between a man and his wife"
Well, it is what it is.
No one is more difficult to wake from sleep that he who is not really sleeping but pretending to be.
I am sick to my stomach watching that video of the teacher being beheaded in Oyo State.
You dedicate your life to teaching mathematics and building the next generation, only to be abducted and slaughtered.
This is not life!
The primary duty of ANY government is the protection of lives. If a teacher cannot even be safe inside a classroom, then nobody is safe. Security operatives are dying, and citizens are bleeding. We are not angry enough!
We cannot normalise this madness. The government must wipe out these monsters and bring the remaining teachers home alive. My heart bleeds for Mr Oyedokun. He did not deserve this. My deepest condolences go to his family.
Please @oyostategovt@seyimakinde@NGRPresident. Something HAS to be done!
Someone was asked why he had longevity in his industry while many other of his equally talented contemporaries had faded away.
His reply was "it is by God's grace and not because of anything I did right in myself."
This is how a religious mindset denies us the opportunity to learn.
Truth is, his longevity came as a result of certain wise choices he made.
What then he should have said was "Yes, I remain relevant till date because I made the right moves some of which I will share however it was God's grace that taught me these things without which I won't have known them and be still standing today"
By saying "it wasn't by any right thing I did but by God's grace" he made it appear it all happened because he was lucky implying others were not.
This puts his success in an inaccessible realm allowing for superstitious practices. God's grace teaches and gives us the right tools.
His success cannot now be trans-generational because he has "nothing" to teach others. If he had framed it right he would still have attributed it to God as the source of it all but then listed out things he was taught by Grace in the last 40years.

When you fellowship with the ungodly because you want to partake of their wealth, you open your life to demonic influences. Money is spiritual. What you're receiving through the association is more than money.
There is a reason Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah refused to eat from the king's table, even though they worked in the king's palace. Satan is not a small boy. He is out to get you and defile you, so that you can no more see God's visions or interpret them rightly.
This happened to Balaam. He was such a powerful prophet but a donkey saw what he could not see. Had Daniel and his three companions defiled themselves, they would not have been able to interpret the king's dream in the next chapter.
The aim of the devil is not to get you to sin. It is to get you to mingle what is God's with what is Caesar's, to bow to him in one way or another, for the kingdoms of the world. He is an illegal occupant you see. Let me explain. There are tenants who sublet their facilities.
They go against the lease agreement with the landlord and rent out the place to other people without the landowner's permission. It is not in their contract with him or her. In fact, the contract forbids it; but they front as the landowner and illegally sublet the place.
They start receiving rent. All the rent from the property should go to the landowner, but now some of it goes to the tenant. And those who are there thinking they are tenants are actually sub-tenants.
All the worship of man should go to God, but Satan wants worship. He is in this illegally situation where he has taken over the control of this world. This is actually not in his contract.
His contract has been voided and the case is in court. He has been condemned and given a quit notice but the judgment is delayed because many sub-tenants on God's property need time to realise they have been deceived.
If Satan is removed now, everyone he brought into the building will have to go. They will be thrown out too. So the landowner has sent His Son to introduce them to the New Contract or testament.
Dear Christian, the Lord chose His words carefully when He said we are the Salt of the EARTH and the Light of the WORLD.
Salt mixes with food to flavor it. Light does not mix with darkness, but dispels it.
As Christians, we mingle freely with men to bless them. Yet we abstain from the world, to overcome it.
Steer clear from sin and worldliness. Do not love this world. It is the ultimate mistake. Stay unconformed. Refuse to be defiled. Your consecration is key to your manifestation.
God wants your life to matter forever. He wants to work His eternal into your temporal. His ultimate into your immediate. His quest into your requests.
And when you have seen the Ultimate, you can no more be enslaved by the immediate. When you have seen the Lord, nothing here can satisfy you. When you have heard His word, nothing here can overcome you.
So read many books, but live in the Bible. Join relevant causes, but belong to the Church. Set important goals, but press toward the mark for the price of the upward call in Christ Jesus
Advance your career or business and be diligent things, but set your mind on things above. Visit many places, but learn to be a heavenly person - an ambassador of Christ, not a 21st century commodity.
Have mentors, but be the child of your father in Heaven.
The life of a Christian is beautiful. Live it out to the full. Recover the wonder. Stay salted and full of light.
Follow Jesus.
@dranthoniaeddo Socials made attention spans shorter. People move on fast. Real connection isn’t built in passing interactions- it lasts when people take it beyond the app and invest personally.
Grace is the emblem of the church, and holiness is her ensign.
Without grace, the church has no message.
And without holiness, the church has, no voice.
There is no grace without holiness
And no holiness without grace.
We preach grace because God is Love
And teach holiness because He is a consuming Fire
Grace is forgiveness, generosity and acceptance
Holiness is consecration, abstinence, and separation.
Both are the two sides of the same faith.
Grace accepts you as you are, but holiness will never let you stay like that.
Grace embraces people, holiness won't touch what's unclean
Grace embraces the sinners, holiness stays far from all sin.
Those who understand grace alone are quick to condone - They say "NEITHER DO I CONDEMN YOU...And then add, I cannot tell you what to do. Do you. Whatever works for you. That's your truth"
And those who understand holiness alone, are quick to condemn. They say "GO AND SIN NO MORE! And then add...Stop sinning! You are on your way to hell! You are a sinner!"
But Jesus said.
"Neither do I condemn you...". That's GRACE.
"...Go, and sin no more.". That's HOLINESS.
For even though grace is the message, yet it is how we sound when we talk about Jesus. Grace is the heartwarming sound of the Christian faith.
And even though holiness is the voice, yet it is what we say to people - Repent! Turn away from your sins. Jesus is calling you to himself
Therefore the one is inseparable from the other. True grace teaches holiness, and true holiness is the immediate and continuous result of God's grace.
Titus 2:11-12
For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God...
God bless you.
