Broke into the tape to examine the up and down play of Michael Penix Jr. during Week 17's game against the Commanders. Thought you saw his process be good except for one throw all night. The arm talent, anticipation, and eye discipline really stood out.

I have no idea what to really expect, but I suspect Raheem will likely be more involved with the D as he mentioned being post bye-week.

Defense is about players more than scheme. It's hard for me to get up in arms until we have actual talent being wasted.

The #Falcons are hiring Jeff Ulbrich as their defensive coordinator, per sources.

A former NFL linebacker, Ulbrich finished last season as the #Jets interim coach. Now he reunites with close friend Raheem Morris in Atlanta, where they worked together from 2015-20.

That said, based off what I saw, I feel good about him moving forward- as much as you can a rookie.

His accuracy issues, imo, are overblown (as was his MOF passing concerns, as we've all seen).

He's a rhythm passer in the mold of many before him. Can look ugly or amazing.

Penix's Achilles heel (What I evaluate as any given QBs biggest obstacles to overcome) factors were creation ability, play against pressure, and health

Creation ability was up and down, play vs. pressure was good, and the last is TBD.

Need to see a bigger sample size for sure.

Still not sure what content I want to do this summer beyond some draft breakdowns. Has anyone figured out a get-around for the constant copyright nonsense that happens when you post college All-22 on youtube? Would hate to have to use broadcast footage.
