Shut the Fuck Up ... Boston Mom Confronts Cops Outside Courthouse Over Treatment of Black Youth

Tense confrontation erupted outside a courthouse, apparently in Boston, as a woman loudly challenged officers over their treatment of a young Black man while bystanders recorded the encounter, according to an audio recording of the incident.

In the recording, a woman repeatedly orders people around her to be quiet as she clashes with officers who tell her and others to back up while filming.

“Everybody, shut the fuck up! You can record, but you have to back up,” the woman shouts at one point as officers tell her to move away

Woman insists she is not interfering and accuses an officer of putting hands on her without cause.

“Don’t touch me. Don’t touch me. You gotta back up me. Do not touch me,” she says.

“I’m not doing anything to anybody… Make sure we get your face because he was touching me for no reason”

She argues that she has already moved several times and suggests officers are trying to keep her from witnessing how they are handling “that boy” nearby.

“Everything was behind the court, and I moved. I moved multiple times. How many times do you want me to move?… They don’t want me to see what they’re doing over there to that boy,” she says

The woman positions herself as trying to de-escalate while criticizing the officer’s conduct.

“I’m the one out here trying to keep them calm for you so you can do your job, and then you’re gonna have enough to push me. No, bitch, that’s not how that works,” she says

She also directs a younger male not to cooperate further with authorities and to return to the courtroom.

“He didn’t do anything wrong. Me and him came outside at the same time when we seen what was going on. He did nothing wrong,” she says, adding, “Don’t give them none of your information. Go back in the courtroom and sit down”

The woman then broadens her criticism to accuse police of systemic mistreatment of Black people.

“Y’all need to get these crooked ass cops up outta here. Fuck! They think they can just do anything to Black people. Not cool at all,” she says

Officers in the recording can be heard insisting that those filming step back, saying they can record but must move away from the immediate area.

The recording does not capture the initial contact between officers and the young man, nor does it include any statement from police.
