Great weather for an election. Enjoyed stopping by Ward 5 to thank sign holders and greet voters. And hat's off to the McCabe crew who welcomed commuters home at the train station and reminded them to vote. 90 minutes left! Polls close at 8PM.

Final afternoon of door knocking this afternoon, so I went back to the neighborhood where Sarah and I raised our family before we downsized. Great to see long-time friends and former neighbors and to receive such warm expressions of support.

Today is a day to honor and remember the incredible mothers in our lives and community. My mother’s faith, strength and immense love for her family inspires me daily. Happy Mother’s Day.

I strongly believe that Salem parents, grandparents & residents should not have to pay parking fees to watch games at municipal parks and fields. And I don't think Salem residents should need to pay to use the municipal pool. Hopefully these current policies will be reversed soon

Ideal weather for door knocking Saturday in the Valley Street and Forest River neighborhoods and beyond. Met my old friend Dave Gauthier and got the chance to hear about this year's Little League activity.

A million thanks to the 42 supporters who stood out this morning for me on Highland Ave. I am a lucky man to have such friends. Salem is lucky to have people who care so much about their city. Three more days to go! Spread the word, Election Day is next Tuesday!

I know from experience that listening to residents is just as important as considering spreadsheets and consultant recommendations when setting policy or solving problems. I thank everyone who attended for their time and consideration.

Friday was a breath of fresh air. I spoke with so many North Salem residents at their doors & in their yards about their concerns for the future of the city. They shared their opinions about traffic & parking, rising taxes, the condition of streets & sidewalks, and city services.

As the long time, well-respected councillor from Ward 6, Sally Hayes not only represented her constituents well, but you could always count on her to take the best interests of the city into consideration at every vote. Proud to call her my friend & very grateful for her support

Patrick Sargent is a realtor who is involved with efforts to create a safe, clean and vibrant neighborhood in the Willows and across the city. I share his optimism to achieve that goal and thank him for his support and endorsement.

Thursday was a busy day beginning with the Harrington Team stand out on Derby Street and Hawthorne Blvd. I appreciate their enthusiastic efforts on my behalf.

Then I had an enjoyable afternoon door knocking with my good friend, Councilor Conrad Prosniewski, in the Forest River Park area.
