Friday 12th all staff and pupils are invited to wear something festive to help us raise money for Roxburghe House and Ninewells NICU.

Donations can be made in cash or via parent pay.

Miss Milne’s N5/Higher HFT has been working hard this afternoon covering Functional Properties of Eggs 🍳

We rounded the lesson up with an identifying the functional property within foods 🧠 📚 🥚 ⬇️

Miss Milne’s N5/Higher HFT class were working hard on Current Dietary Advice today, we rounded up the lesson with a past paper question. Well done everyone, keep up the hard work 👏🏻 📖 🖊️ 🧠

Well done to Miss Milne’s N5 practical cookery last week! They completed their first double dish of Sweet and Sour Curry and White Chocolate and Lime Cheesecake! We worked on garnishing and piping to show 4 portions! Well done everyone! 👏🏻

Chef’s Club

Our Chef’s Club is starting soon, anyone who is interested in attending a 3 week block on a Thursday after school should give their name to a member of the H.E. department as soon as possible.

Mrs Mitchell’s practical cookery class were busy developing their decorating skills. They found working with melted chocolate tricky to start with but kept trying until they got better with their technique.

S2’s have been busy so far this week with their Açai Bowls! The lesson focus was to work on garnishing / presentation skills to a commercial standard! The lesson went down a treat and definitely a success with all pupils so far! Just a few fabulous examples below 👇🏻 🍒🍓🍌🫐
