It also means the backlog gets exponentially bigger because games take longer to finish, and in keeping with the topic of the ep, there are games I know I will simply never get around to playing. My hope is they’ll still be available when I’m 90 and living in a fallout shelter.
On today’s @getplayedpod, Nick asked how parents find time to game. As a parent of a toddler, it really just comes down to finding windows where you can play (usually at night or during naps) and accepting that it’s going to be 2-3 hours a week instead of 2-3 hours a night.
To add to a @doughboyspod debate, my wife has been reading Gone Girl and pulled this quote from one of Amy’s diary entries: “I have found my match. It’s Nick. Laid back, calm and smart and fun and uncomplicated. Untortured. Happy. Nice. Big penis.” @nickwiger @BDayBoysMitch
@BrucioMcCulloch my wife and I just had a baby, and we’ve discovered the most reliable way to pull him back from the edge of inconsolable despair is to gently rock him and sing “The Daves I Know”. Thank you for your service.
@doughboyspod@bejohnce I’m from Winnipeg MB Canada, and we have a very region specific sauce reserved exclusively for chicken tendies. It’s called Honey Dill Sauce and it’s truly amazing!
