Rebranding the Tourism Sector!
We have had a very productive engagement session today with the @NAssemblyKE Committee on Tourism and Wildlife and the Tourism Brand Repositioning Taskforce to discuss the strategic repositioning of the Kenya Brand.
While we appreciate the tourism sector is on an upward trajectory, brand fatigue and limited awareness of our diverse offerings have slowed our competitive edge~we've therefore made deliberate strategic efforts to rebrand the sector.
Our mission is to transition Magical Kenya into an inclusive, sustainable, and multi-dimensional brand to make Kenya The Origin of Wonder.
We have established a platform to closely collaborate with the legislature as we seek support to streamline our policies and make Kenya the top choice for global travelers.

Through a redefined narrative and strengthened individual county brands, we aren't just attracting tourists ,we are inviting investment and building pride.
Through our synergy with counties, we are co-creating a framework that empowers every region to showcase its unique heritage and hidden gems. We’re moving beyond just our safari and beach offerings.
The @Min_TourismKE is undertaking a nationwide mapping exercise~ the data will empower CECs to market their counties with precision and drive local growth.

KTB Pioneering Branded Merchandise under Magical Kenya
As consumer behavior evolves, brands must convert assets into revenue. KTB is partnering with Seraphic to standardize and commercialize branded merchandise. Proceeds from merchandise sales will contribute to KTB’s income, supporting our growth and the Magical Kenya experience.
It was great to host global sensation @ishowspeedsui on his #SpeedDoesAfrica tour.
During his tour, Kenyans didn't just show up, we showed out! From the moment he landed, the energy has been unmatched, proving why Kenya is the leading hub for digital creativity and youth culture in Africa. From the art of cooking Ugali and Chapati and at the Nairobi National Park, Speed got up close with our majestic wildlife, even feeding a baby rhino he named "Rhinaldo." It’s a beautiful reminder that we are the only city in the world with a National Park at its doorstep.
From riding camels at Uhuru Park to playing basketball with the talented youth at the Mukuru Affordable Housing Project, Speed saw the true face of Nairobi: modern, vibrant, and incredibly welcoming.
In the heart of the Maasai Mara, he engaged with our heritage through the traditional Maasai jump and partook in the sacred Maasai ritual of drinking milk mixed with blood ,a testament to his respect for our deep-rooted customs. He also experienced the World's Greatest Annual Terrestrial Wildlife Migration site that is officially a part of the World Book of Records.
With the livestream shattering records, it placed Kenya at the very top of his African tour rankings. In a breathtaking moment captured live, Speed officially crossed the 48 Million Subscriber mark right here in Nairobi!
This visit has demonstrated that Kenya is not just a destination on a map; it is an immersive experience of nature, culture, and humanity. Speed leaves behind more than just viral clips, he leaves a powerful reminder that Kenya is not just a destination ,it is the Cradle of Mankind.
