Manipur tragedy is not only about the failure of the state and the administration. It’s also about civil society in this country.
Without an iota of understanding of the historicity of the state and blinded by propaganda and prescriptive ideological blind spots, many intellectuals and media pundits in the so-called mainland India took a partisan position, aggravating the Manipur tragedy. Many of them were acting like some of those Western pundits reporting on the Rwandan crisis! Some gave provocative speeches and reports as if they were on the part of one of the warring groups. They tried their best to cover up the fact that sophisticated weapons were available and used by armed groups and elements across the state, irrespective of the communities; propagating/reporting one-sided pictures, showing one community as villains with sophisticated (looted) weapons while another as simply villagers with locally made arms, or covering up the fact that many of the armed groups under negotiation with the Govt of India have direct links/relations with political leaders, or many of these are linked to years of counter-insurgency strategies or that security forces were giving contradictory statements or working at cross purposes. Or that basic federal schemes under the Constitution have been openly and blatantly subverted all along…
Now, many of them have gone into hiding, it seems, as hostage taking or killing hostages or killing civilians has gone beyond the “tribal-non-tribal” or “majority-minority” binaries!
But all said and done, beyond the “brown men’s burden”, we have to find justice and peace in the state!
“Inspired by Nature” is the theme of Environment Day 2026, yet some continue to destroy the very forests that sustain life.
History once labeled them as the “Enemies of the Forest.” Sadly, their actions today continue to reinforce that reputation.
Forests inspire, protect, and nurture. Those who destroy them stand against the very spirit of nature.
You have to be 16 to drive.
You have to be 18 to vote.
You have to be 21 to drink.
You have to be 25 to rent a car.
Why are teachers talking to our kids about sexuality at 12?
Why are kids encouraged to mutilate their bodies at 13?
This gender ideology madness needs to end.
China has a concept of "naked officials."
If spouse or child of a minister or senior official lives abroad permanently, they are removed.
If their kids study abroad, they have to come back to China within 6 months of graduation.
We should have the same rule in India.

Saw the photos?
1st image: Nitish Kumar Das, West Bengal.
2nd image: M Rishikanta, Manipur.
Both of these men were shot dead by #KukiNarcoTerrorists, an incident which is a subset of the #ManipurViolence & kiIIings engineered & perpetuated by #KukiNarcoTerrorists.
But what was their fault?
M Rishikanta found love in a Kuki lady & dared to be with her in the Kuki infested Churachandpur, Manipur. He thought that he would be safe because which community would make their daughter/sister a widow by killing her spouse? But he was shot dead, at point blank range just because he was a Meitei.
But what was Nitish Kumar Das' fault? He was just doing his duty of ferrying essential goods along Imphal - Ukhrul road, goods which would have ultimately reached the Kuki populace too. Can anyone explain the continuation of such senseless kiIIings?
Ex-gratia, perhaps, will be announced but what about the families who lost their dear members? Will they ever come to terms with the realities?
Some goodbyes are tough, especially the ones which were never said & never explained, but left to the imagery to explain, where one of the victim is seen dangling lifeless while the other victim is praying with folded hands for another chance to his own life to the #KukiNarcoTerrorists.
Sad state of affairs.
Let there be justice.
Let there be peace.

Every time a high-profile terrorist is captured, they usually link 3–4 othr major cases to him.

Israel tied up children and babies, KILLED them, then buried them in mass graves.
A French aid worker: “We found a mass grave in Gaza containing 300 bodies. Small children were killed with their hands tied behind their backs
EuroMedHR: Inside the mass graves, they found children & babies with their hands bound with zip ties
This photo is from 2 mass graves discovered at Nasser Hospital, southern Gaza, in April During the genocide, the EuroMedHR documented over 130 mass graves of victims of the Israeli genocide
@Dig_raw21 Hello Major, wondering when you were posted in Manipur? I’m sure you were awarded Kirti Chakra for your bravery and service to the nation; but sometimes, seeing what you are doing on the social media, I question myself!
Anyway, please see if the following video rings a bell to you!
This video also reminds me of the Tehelka report here: https://t.co/YAstdbDzUu
I hope sharing these information does not make me anti-national!
An otherwise respected institute, Indian Army and Para Military forces reputation has been tarnished irreparably due to conduct of few rotten apples in the NE. Just google. Rampant cases of fake encounters, gang rape, drug smuggling, abuse, touture etc forcing the SC to intervene
Economy in trouble, Nirmala disappears. Paper leaks, Pradhan disappears. Foreign policy fails, Jaishankar disappears, and pattern continues..
Ministers don’t resign anymore, they simply disappear once their department is in trouble, out of sight, out of accountability.
