@BMac_Oz@kanechrism@Coach_Mackay_@mikeclaytongolf Mate you join a club because your successful at your trade. I don’t care what you earn a year. Problem is in Australia is we act poor me because I don’t have this particular job. PGA tour is just a job the same as laying bricks. Both deserve same privileges
@BMac_Oz@kanechrism@Coach_Mackay_@mikeclaytongolf Now the fun begins. I’ve worked my ass off. And I know what it’s like to do it tough. I worked hard to earn what I have. Harden up pal. And you will be ok
@RoibeardOMordha @Ekrnb2 That’s how it was when I was living as a kid in Aus. I got introduced to a great golf club. But I had my chores to do before I go play. And those where services to the members
@RoibeardOMordha @Ekrnb2 Sadly down there you get pinged for everything 😂. I more in for a service provided by the juniors who are on scholarship for better member services. Not employees
@kanechrism@Coach_Mackay_@mikeclaytongolf There’s more to earning a scholarship than just good golf. Respect to members and the club. Isn’t that the idea of introducing young members?
@mikeclaytongolf@kanechrism@Coach_Mackay_ Especially for the big clubs. But why stop there. Put a 100% into it. Show the members why they joined this club. And there is not what ifs. Australian clubs need that mindset. Not making excuses why we can’t. There’s always a way to make things better
@kanechrism@Coach_Mackay_@mikeclaytongolf I believe when the club pays for a junior program that’s part of their contract. They help with member services. That’s how it was when I was kid. It’s tough love but hardens you up
@Coach_Mackay_@AdrianLogue@eaglesbirdies@mikeclaytongolf One thing I’ve learnt living here. Look after the right people they look after you. Australia needs that back into the golf world. We have some unbelievable powerful members of course across Australia. The young junior cleaning his clubs and making sure he’s all set goes far
