Update Notes:
The demo has been updated with:

New character portrait artwork
Japanese language support
Further gameplay optimizations

The gameplay and combat are fast and smooth. Even though I’m not great with mouse and keyboard, I had no trouble pulling off combos.

The demo also has fast-travel portals, which should make backtracking a lot easier when the full game releases.

There are several upgrades and implants to unlock, giving you more options as you progress. So far, everything feels pretty polished and fun to play.

As I said before, I also played Re:Night demo on PC during the weekend.

I like some deckbuilding games (Slay the Spire 1, SteamWorld Quest, Baten Kaitos), and this game can potentially be one of the greats in the genre.

It mixes deckbuilding with strategy combat. 8/10
