@BankersThorn 2/2 BBRS sided with bank. "Had" the bank produced evidence it would have supported their positiion. They have zero intention of doing anything other than what their paymasters tell them to do. We are alone on this - no one cares about bank malfeasance
@BankersThorn Total agreement. Spent 12 months + in the process. Every step BBRS/bank trying to reject case due illegibility. Fought it, provided so much evidence. Bank produced nothing,
& mean absolutely nothing. 1/2
@British_Airways 7hrs on hold 2 customer services. 5hrs on hold here. 2 emails to CEO & cust services director - no response at all. Appaulling way to treat customers
@British_Airways trying to book in. API corrupted. On hold to "executive club" to resolve 2 hrs now. Its your IT issue - need it fixing - flight goes in a few hours - please can you sort this?
@nahosting thanks for this. I'll give you a try. Got loads of domains/email/hosting with @123regHelp who don't appear to be too bothered about retaining customers.
@Harrogatesquire Hey Rick, we do UK domains for £4.95 + VAT. We are a Nominet accredited registrar and an independent UK company with UK support staff too.
No increases at renewal and same price for everyone. Have a good evening.

@123reg Hi Ben, Been approached by numerous other providers offering cheaper deals-so guess what I'll go with them. Got a number of help desk queries from last week not answered on email errors. But as you say far superior product..........not
@Harrogatesquire@123reg Hi Rick,
I can understand the frustration in seeing this. We offer the same introductory pricing on all other products – email, hosting, website builder, online shop to all customers alike
@123reg can you explain the logic of charging a new customer £0.99 for a new domain & a long suffering current customer like me £11.99. Doesn't seem fair or right.
@ArloAndJacob Ordered sofa back in July; told 8 weeks before delivery - no updates + no sofa - emailed a couple of times - no response; no one picking up the phones - everything ok? Are you still trading? Will I be getting the sofa? Help
@KirstieMAllsopp @PrimalPolitical Same up in here. Orthodontist work - no NHS referrals-however will take on private work same day; pushy pushy finance agreements offered. Clearly not right-there is capacity to do work but ethics lost over £££££
Think this is bad. Should look at water market for SMEs since it's opened up to "competition". Existing supplier Yorkshire water sold SME biz to Business Stream. Prices up 15% & can't move to other suppliers. Held captive to ever increasing bills. Cartel.
I once asked a regulator how much time they expected consumers to devote to searching & switching across a range of different markets. They didn’t know.
In most cost-benefit analysis they don’t put any value on the time they expect consumers to spend engaging with complex markets
Are they releasing how many firms have been rejected for CBILS? From own experience I guess It's going to be significant. @BritishBBank declaring this (& the reason why rejected) would give a better picture if the scheme is successful or not.
This is pathetic. Alok Sharma admits just 4,200 emergency loans have been granted to desperate businesses in almost 4 weeks of the scheme running, despite 300,000 applications. "We want to increase the pace" #Ridge
@Metro_Bank rejected my CBILS today. Having a loan with another bank makes you ineligible. Other bank not part of @BritishBBank scheme. How many other SMEs with similar set-up? What now @RishiSunak ?
@BritishBBank wow they get a £600m bailout despite a £174m div payment a week before. The rest of us just pay our taxes, staff, suppliers on the hope our gvt will done the right thing & help SMEs. 3 weeks & still silence on assistance. All rise Sir Stelios. 🤮
EasyJet has secured a £600m loan from the UK Treasury and Bank of England’s emergency coronavirus fund. On 20 March, it paid a dividend of £174m, £60m went to its co-founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou.
Will shareholders return the dividend?

The shear arrogance of this man...16,000 customers put thru the RBS abattoir that was GRG because Fred Goodwin's ego was out of control. BoE/PRA can sack these collaborators. Need a clear out 2 save British Business. 10 yrs on & still RAW
For many people the 2008 crisis is not ‘history' and are still suffering today. Time for banks like @RBS and @LloydsBank to do right thing by businesses/consumers to get as many as possible through this crisis in good shape @APPGbanking@mortgageprison https://t.co/gGtxu55kFL
Perhaps the clearing banks should start issuing a daily update of new loans (number of loans and total amount) made under govt-backed scheme to save business. @RishiSunak@bankofengland
@Harrogatesquire Hi Rick, apologies for any confusion on the matter. The info we've given here is correct. Thank you for making us aware of where you were told though, we'll forward onto the relevant team to avoid this happening again. ^JF
