trains cancelled, metro stations shut, roads blocked, hotel checks, borders under surveillance, internet shutdown threats. all this just to stop people from gathering and protesting?!! seems like the last protest has given the bjp goverment some serious nightmares.
they are putting entire police force in delhi to stop the protests for women’s safety but a woman calls police for her safety in a moving train, doesn’t get any support and now she is dead. absolute irony on display by indian govt and police. SHAMEFUL AND DISGUSTING!
and let nobody tell you this isn't a big issue to protest against, it is literally the biggest issue.
if the votes are deleted in a targetted manner and the voter roll is a farce then none of your rights matter after that.
Protest for the right reasons. Stand up for your rights, question the government, and fight against injustice. That’s democracy. But never compromise your country’s interests just to please another nation, political party, or religious group.

‘He did not dress up so prettily for you,’ a voice whispers in his head, ‘he would never put so much effort into his dressing for you.’

"We have decided not to submit for this year's Grammys.
Rather than music being categorized by region or language, we hope music itself can be heard and loved for what it is.
We sincerely thank ARMY and everyone who is always with us"

To anyone not from India, this is what is happening in India, I urge you to read through this long tweet :
India is facing severe civil unrest driven by systemic failures in its education and a horrible job market. With youth unemployment nearing 40% for recent graduates. The primary catalyst for the protests was the leaking of the highly competitive NEET (medical entrance exam) on Telegram.
Over 2 million students compete for roughly 130,000 spots, making the test a critical, high-stress lifeline out of poverty.
Adding to the frustration, the government's 12th board exam portal was recently hacked by three teenagers, exposing severe cybersecurity flaws and a complete lack of grading transparency.
The resulting cancellation of exams and pervasive unfairness devastated exhausted students, tragically contributing to numerous reported suicides.

The movement gained further momentum when prominent activist, engineer, and educator Sonam Wangchuk joined with an indefinite hunger strike. After fasting for over 20 days, police forcibly detained (KIDNAPPED) and hospitalized him, despite his peaceful approach.

Instead of engaging in dialogue with millions of young children from 9-20 are peacefully demanding across the entire country, the government has responded with heavy-handed tactics. Protesters are beaten by police with sticks with nails, expired tear gas (which is highly lethal), groping of underage women protestors on the sites, and internet black.
The ruling party has refused to make concessions, reportedly out of fear that holding high-ranking officials accountable would show political weakness and set an unwanted precedent.
For many observers, this crisis is a symptom of a broader slide toward authoritarianism in India over the last decade. Many argue the government has steadily eroded democratic institutions by favoring oligarchs, purchasing media compliance, suppressing voter rolls, and silencing political opposition, a prominent Opposition was thrashed at the Protest Site as well.

What began as a protest over a leaked exam has evolved into a mass outcry against deep-seated corruption, zero political accountability, and the loss of a once-vibrant democracy.
The entire country is demanding the Resignation of the Minister who was aware of the discrepancies in his System for years, and the Prime Minister who is protecting.
