@katrosenfield To what extent is the fear of crime a fear of something that never happens? Whatever this extent is, is a fear of nothing real. Isn’t the fault then on the people who have this fear or whatever influenced them to have it? Or…what am I missing? I’m listening.
@katrosenfield Different topic, but perhaps still related: is the fear people have on the subway about real danger? I imagine there is some real life experience (lived or heard) behind it. But don’t most of us ride and we’re ok? Maybe a weird guy says something or sleeps, but no violence?

@CrossPartyLines Hello,
My name is Harry Nagendra and I have been emailing with Lisa Swallow regarding an author who wishes to share her views against feminism with anyone who disagrees with her. I have 7 of her online writings that I emailed to Lisa. I would be happy to…
…share them here or with anyone in CPL who would be interested in having a discussion forum for her, me, and anyone who agrees and disagrees with modern feminism.
This @USATODAY article is REALLY good on gender expression/sexuality (and not just because I am quoted in it)😊 Nuanced, sophisticated, and practical! Highly recommend it to all teachers, parents and others.
I reviewed David Paul Kuhn, The Hardhat Riot, for the Journal of Interdisciplinary History. The archival research is impressive, the conclusions are sloppy. https://t.co/kktsrnSfOn
@FinancialPhys One Substacker whom i have met in person for podcast discussions has written this blog post linking this video. The situation is more complex than it might seem. I hope people please read Regan’s words carefully before judging: https://t.co/VtZVsUuPNB
@Suzierizzo1 Whether or not you change minds, you all may see that there is room for further discussion with less fear and anger between you all. Sometimes having the conversation itself is a win.
@Suzierizzo1 Many Trump voters are women, black people, gay people, perhaps even some transgender people. I think there is a lot of things you and they may agree on. You can start with some of that, then discuss the points of disagreement, one by one. Listen to why they believe what they do.

Having led us out of the worst public health and economic crises in most of our lives, President Biden should be remembered as one of our great leaders.
Now he's passed the torch to Kamala Harris. We must unite behind her to defeat Trump. Our freedom and democracy depend on it.
