3 months without a usable vehicle. No transparency. No accountability. And now, my complaint has been closed without resolution.
A TVS iQube purchased for ₹1.6 lakh, driven just 11,000 km in 3 years, is now facing a battery failure, with the replacement reportedly costing ₹70,000. Is this what EV ownership has come to?
Why should customers trust EVs if the battery becomes unaffordable to replace just after the warranty expires?
Thank you to the @TVSMotorCompany social media team and Territory Manager Muzammil for connecting with me and taking the time to understand my concerns. I genuinely appreciate your efforts.
Sir, as discussed yesterday, I have been reporting recurring battery issues for a long time. Since I don't have your direct contact number, I am sharing screenshots of my WhatsApp conversations with TVS service managers as evidence that these issues were reported earlier. I am unsure why these complaints were not documented in the job cards or service records.
Regarding the suggestion that the issue may be due to the rider's weight, I weighed approximately 90 kg. If there are any specific weight limitations for the TVS iQube, these should have been clearly communicated to customers at the time of purchase.
I also have a recording of my conversation with Customer Care regarding the possibility of a battery warranty extension. I am happy to share it through an appropriate channel.
I have cooperated throughout this process and am willing to provide any further information required. I sincerely hope the team will review the evidence, address my concerns fairly, and provide a concrete resolution rather than another case closure.
Thank you again for your time and support. I look forward to a positive outcome. 🙏

I am tagging the relevant authorities for intervention and a fair resolution.
@jagograhakjago@MahaDGIPR @MahaITDept
Requesting the National Consumer Helpline, Maharashtra consumer authorities and senior TVS management to intervene.
I seek:
- A written technical report and battery health history.
- Written clarification on VIN eligibility and battery warranty/extension terms.
- A clear explanation of the recurring complaints and why the battery issue was not identified earlier.
- A fair resolution, including appropriate battery replacement support.
A ₹1.6 lakh vehicle cannot simply become a ₹70,000 repair burden or scrap after 3 years and 11,000 km. Customers deserve transparency, accountability and a meaningful resolution—not forced complaint closures.

Here is what makes this worse:
1. I was told my vehicle's VIN was not covered under the U-battery fault issue.
2. Despite repeated complaints and an AMC, TVS claims no battery fault was found until it finally failed.
3. When I requested battery health reports and technical findings, I was told these were internal company information.
4. I was informed that battery warranty extension was possible, but the manager did not clarify why this option was not addressed.
5. The manager promised a response, but nothing was sent by email. Instead, my complaint was closed.
Why is TVS unwilling to provide its findings and explanation in writing? Why must the customer bear the entire loss?

WORST EXPERIENCE WITH TVS!! Never imagined a company would turn it's back when you face issues.
Case#02622347, 3 months, repeated complaints, multiple case closures—and still no resolution on my iQube battery complaint.
Customer service has been extremely disappointing: calls disconnected, emails answered with standard responses without addressing the questions raised, and complaints repeatedly closed without resolution.
The Service Manager keeps repeating “battery out of warranty,” while my concerns remain unanswered.
More importantly, TVS Customer Care confirmed that a warranty extension may be possible, yet the service centre, dealer and customer continue receiving conflicting responses.
I have WhatsApp chats, videos showing the battery noise/warning indicators, and call recordings of Customer Care confirming the possibility of a warranty extension.
I was also having U battery and had similar concerns raised by other customers but service center never cared to look jnto the issue and made me live with the problems by citing stupid reasons. Battery health report never shared even after requesting fir it after sharing complaints during the warranty period.
DID I MAKE MISTAKE CHOSING ICUBE OVER OTHER VEHICLES is the question I repeatedly ask myself as my colleagues who went for other brands never faced these challenges and are happily using their vehicles even today
Who owns this complaint?
I request senior EV management to take ownership, review the complete evidence and provide a written resolution addressing each concern, rather than another standard response or case closure.
Still awaiting a final decision.

@TVSMotorCompany@tvsiqube May I know how many more days or months you need to resolve my concern? You keep claiming that your team has responded, but I have received no meaningful response or resolution. My iQube has been unusable for 3 months, causing immense inconvenience. Do you even understand the trouble a customer goes through without their vehicle for so long? Why should customers invest in electric vehicles if this is the kind of after-sales service they receive? Stop giving generic replies and provide a clear, final decision with a definite timeline. #TVSiQube #CustomerService

There is no one who reached out to me and I am not surprised because this is happening from last 3 months. Without a formal communication and consent of customer, How can TVS close the issue? And if TVS senior management works like this then i have lost my hopes from this organizatio. Itself. I believe TVS needs to look into their customer service very seriously. I need a formal email answering all my questions before closing the issue. Or else if you want I can all my questions on this platform. Do let me know.
@tvsiqube Again, a closure notification without any resolution??? What are you upto? Who is owner of the issue? I need to know whom this can be escalated please ?
@tvsiqube Hello Team, thank you for the quick response here. I get same responses from customer service and emails from TVS but no luck for past 3 months. I am hoping to hear back on my questions on the email rather than standard responses. Looking forward to hear from the RIGHT team.
