If "thing" were true the implications would be upsetting, so "thing" must not be true.

@Roper_Lab I got injured by the vaccine, and when the UK JCVI finally released the Number Needed to Vaccinate (NNV) I saw that to prevent one person in my risk group from going to hospital with COVID ( not dying) they had to Vaccinate 186,800 people like me. That's 0.0005% ARR.
@HelenWebberley The worst phrase in the corporate world is "bring your authentic self to work". Utter bs. Bring a carefully curated version of yourself to work or fuck off. Same with living in a society that has agreed norms of behaviour.
@Hill_Darran If the races of the victim and the murderer had been reversed it would not have gone down that way. Of that much I'm certain. And we'd also be seeing nationwide protests and hearing regular statements from the PM.
