@canterburyNZ @starfishanus @RhonaLloyd96@IrishRugby I love Canterbury as a brand and always have but don’t think having models to represent women’s rugby kits instead of women rugby players is right when you have male rugby players modelling the men’s kits. Think you need to apologies you were wrong and reshoot the kits!!
Unfortunately, female athletes are still valued based on their appearance but it’s up to us as female players of all sports to stand up against silly attitudes like this and be role models for the female athletes to come.
@bigwi11ystylee@akinagondwe So Will, if women aspire to be Cardi why has the participation in women’s rugby gone up? Maybe the women you hang out with want to be Cardi but don’t speak for the whole gender with your very narrow minded views
@SteveElsdon1 @edcrick @RhonaLloyd96 So Steve, why isn’t there male models modelling men’s kits too? Surely it works both ways ? Or do you still have a sexist view
@SteveElsdon1 @RhonaLloyd96 Steve, so if models are better looking apparently so why are some females players models ?? 🤷♂️👀 stop being a sexist pig and learn the facts please !
@Kristieedwards_ People will always point the finger and question when someone is good enough when they aren’t ! Just baffles me they don’t support their own cause by supporting and encouraging more females into sport
