@TiceRichard North Sea oil and gas are privately owned and sold at global market rates. No legal mechanism exists to compel below-market domestic sales, homegrown production would not lower energy bills. Stop lying!!

@Rhysalix I still suspect the Ferraris will be faster in race pace. There’s definitely still more to do, graining seems to be a big issue again. Hopefully the first round of upgrades are as effective as they were in 2024 🤞
@ManutdPope@liam_mja@NovBaII Maybe, but that would require removing the 3pm blackout. I agree by the way, if there was a ‘UK football’ subscription with all FPL and EFL games on it I’d cancel Sky tomorrow and buy that instead. I just don’t see it happening any time soon unfortunately
@liam_mja@ManutdPope@NovBaII Yes sorry, wrong sign 🤣 that’s only half the money. And that’s suggesting everyone pays for sky sports for FPL. There will be plenty in that figure that pay for f1 for example, or even for EFL football so it’s not a given that all those customers buy a premier league package.
@ManutdPope@NovBaII The maths doesn’t check out I’m afraid, even if everyone who has sky sports (~7Mn people) bought this they still only make about ~£200Mn a year compared to ~£5Bn in TV deals with Sky and TNT at the moment.
I wish this sort of thing did come about, but Sky would never allow it
@NovBaII No chance this comes to the UK. F1 do something similar aboard but it doesn’t come to the UK because the exclusive Sky contract is too lucrative
