He heard screams from the stands now as the horror sunk in. Dumbledore and other adults rushed forward.

“He’s back,” Harry whispered to Dumbledore. “He’s back. Voldemort. He wanted me to bring him back.”

Back in the safety now, Harry knew that his life was forever changed.

Lord Voldemort had risen again.

With the help of the ghosts...of his father, of his mother, of Cedric- Harry managed to summon the Triwizard cup and transport back to Hogwarts.

The congratulatory band was paired with a loud sob from Harry who clung to Cedric's body.

caused his vision to go black before he dropped his wand.

Harry could just make out cold voices that said 'Kill the Spare' and 'Avada Kedavra!'

A blast of green light and a thud. He opened his eyes to see Cedric lying spread-eagled on the ground beside him. He was dead.

At the end of the maze's challenges it was just the two boys from Hogwarts.

"Both of us," Harry said breathlessly. "We’ll take it at the same time. It’s still a Hogwarts victory. We’ll
tie for it."

And on the count of three, Harry and Cedric grabbed the cup and -

were pulled into a howl of wind and swirling color.

They had left the Hogwarts grounds completely — perhaps hundreds of miles — for even the mountains surrounding the castle were gone. The boys inspected the eerie graveyard when Harry's scar enveloped him in pain.

Dumbledore gathered the champions around and Harry found @CedricD_DT with a nervous smile.

The Qudditch Field was unrecognizable with a 20 foot hedge that ran up to all the edges. The champions meet together at the entrance.

Harry attempted to look in but he could only make out a creepy darkness.

Not five minutes later the stands began to full with hundreds of students finding their seats.

The first stars were beginning to appear in the sky as the sky began to set. Harry could just barely see the Weasley’s -his family for the night’s celebrations-and offered them a

truly prepared for the first time in this tournament.

Harry happily put aside his good luck card from Sirius when he caught Hermione’s spit take at her Daily Prophet.

“What? Rita Skeeter again? It’s about me isn’t it?”

Breakfast was a noisy affair in the great hall as all students buzzed in the excitement of the third task tonight and studied vigorously before the week’s final exam today.
