@Sumit_6044@JohnMu @gofishchris Lot of unnatural things about that site, lots of links fast, slim on EEAT and looks like blog spam would be my theories. I would restyle the site and focus on conveying more about the author.

Come along and look through our study on backlink acquisition, breaking down different techniques, my favorite metric, and how many hours it took to get that link.

Not sure who needs to hear this but:
β’ most SEO work is done outside the SEO team
β’ technical SEO β advanced SEO
β’ the best SEO ideas might come from writers, developers, or analysts
@mrcallumscott Sorry penalty is probably the wrong word, more that they are experiencing drops in traffic and being succeeded by brands that have strong UX. I agree that they coordinate, but for someone to coordinate they also need to have a bit of knowledge in those different areas.
Lots of sites with poor UX are getting hit by penalties, is CRO/UX testing becoming a part of the SEO remit? If SEO, between digital PR, technical onsite, link acquisition, and content strategy, where is the line drawn? Is one person expected to do this?
@Adam_SR Hey @Adam_SR interesting - to be honest I have seen in-house teams, as well as agency, becoming larger as a specialization. Brands are building out their capabilities rather than contracting them in the AU & UK, not sure about US.
Some people think they go above and beyond for clients.
Me? Iβve just told a client Iβll message my ex boyfriend out of the blue to ask him to share our campaign on his work socials (gym-based campaign, the ex manages a gym) ππππ
Crazy to think, someone out there has created the best content in a topic niche, but Google may not be able to read it. Tree falling in the woods kinda stuffπ²
