The order and way you apply stimulus to the body matters for strength training.
You wouldn’t put a cake tin in the oven then add the cake mix once you’ve taken it out and expect to bake a cake.
So don’t expect the same when you’re training for strength.
@BBCSport 100% try. TMO kacked himself under the pressure of doing his job. The ground didn’t just disappear under the ball! The referee was about to award the try but the TMO swayed his decision. Pathetic officiating. @hawkeyeofficial would have got it right!
@WorldRugby will say they’re looking after player welfare, but they reactive, no proactive.
Rugby is a collision sports. Unfortunately you CANNOT control the unpredictability of rugby.
@KathrynDane2 your BJSM podcast on training smarter in female collision sport was a great listen and helpful for me as I am in the final stages of completing my MSc diss on injury prevention protons in women’s rugby. If possible it would be great to get your opinion on the topic?
First full 80 in a while and the body cis feeling it today 🤕 Not the result we wanted but a great display of grit from the lads. On to next week

The intensity of your life is more important than the immensity of it.
This can be applied to so many areas of life. Wealth, possessions, and experiences. But especially training!
Quality of training will trump over quantity every time.
When it comes to your training, are you working towards a Fitness or Performance goal?
Fitness goal - Improve endurance
Performance goal - Run a sub 25min 5K
