Everyone one of these things is 100% absolutely true.
-Intense Empathy
-Collecting things (too many things, too many lol xd)
-Listening In (creeps people out)
-Perfectionism
-Imaginary Friends (they're real)
-Heightened Sensitivity
-Unusually Accepting
-Insomnia (all the time)
Some autistic traits don’t get talked about enough: intense empathy, motion sickness, collecting things without ever using them, accidentally listening in on conversations, perfectionism, imaginary friends, heightened sensitivity, being unusually accepting of others, insomnia, and caring way more deeply than people realize.
Late-diagnosed autism is realizing that other people weren’t rehearsing conversations in their heads, mentally bracing themselves just to leave the house, getting overwhelmed by everyday noise, or needing a full recovery day after socializing. 😭
Joe Rogan & Jesse Michels discuss how "Consciousness renders reality like a video game. Only what is observed gets computed"
“There is no tree. There is no forest. If there’s nobody there and it’s not being observed, it’s not being rendered.”
In the Copenhagen interpretation, measurement collapses the wave function. Reality stays probabilistic until observation forces a definite outcome. Campbell connects this directly to consciousness: the physical world is a multiplayer virtual reality computed by a larger consciousness system. Your body is the avatar. Your consciousness is the player receiving a personal data stream. Our reality is almost certainly a simulation.
Nothing is rendered unless an observer needs the information. The brain itself is not even rendered unless someone opens a skull and looks. Turn your head and the previous scene stops being computed for you, just as a video game only draws what the player is currently facing.
This is efficient computer science applied to existence. Probability until measurement. Collapse upon observation. Mind involved in the rendering.
The same principle that explains the double slit experiment also explains why the world feels solid only when you engage with it.
This 4chan /pol/ thread is genuinely impressive 👀
Anon says we’re being colonized by a superior intelligence.
TLDR
It doesn’t need robots or landing crafts.
It only needs machine learning systems that slightly shift the probabilities of what we see and decide.
COVID was the key intervention that set everything into motion.
The massive AI data centres are the infrastructure.
UFOs are inspecting the new creation.
He’s watching September 23 for another major incident.
The more he clarifies it, the more coherent and unsettling it gets. WTF 🧵
Late-Diagnosed AuDHD core:
• Never feeling fully understood
• Masking so well you fooled yourself
• Hyperaware of others, disconnected from self
• Talking too much or not at all
• Craving structure but rejecting routine
• Burnout as a baseline
Things about me that probably should've screamed autism sooner:
1. I have to mentally prepare before going almost anywhere, even places I actually want to go.
2. I need days to recover from being around people too long.
3. Small changes in plans can throw my whole brain off.
4. In most social settings you can find me playing with the kids or animals.
5. Loud noises make my ears hurt and heart rate increase.
6. I can look completely fine in public and fall apart the second I get home.
7. I replay awkward moments in my head for an unreasonable amount of time.
8. I have to research my special interests for hours. I get irritated when I have to stop.
i often hear that autistic people can’t lie, but i definitely can. what i struggle with is insincerity. i can lie if i have to, but i can’t fake enthusiasm, gush over someone i don’t feel strongly about, or act like we’re best friends when we barely know each other. sometimes it feels like genuine enthusiasm, effortless social warmth, and pretending everyone is closer than they really are are basically the currency of the neurotypical world.
