@NicoAxie@ZssBecker If you can't answer the "Why", never invest. If you can answer it, and the answer makes sense, build a strategy based around it. If it's pumping for x y z reasons, it'll likely fall when those reasons no longer exist, or when new ATH's are reached and broken for small periods.
@NicoAxie@ZssBecker Personally; Research is the main thing. The fundamentals of each coin will dictate a large part of the movement. If you're investing in a coin, you're telling your wallet that you think it's going to rise in value. The massive question mark is "WHY"
@ZssBecker 100x this. The amount of talks I've had with new buyers into crypto's like SHIB, who don't have basic strategies like entry and exit points has absolutely floored me. Like sure, we all start somewhere, but a lot of these people are risking capital they can't afford to lose.
The biggest mistake new cryptos make is trying to be passive or never sell "early".
If up 5-10x you need to make a gut call to sell and be okay selling early.
Aggressively know your coins so you can make the best sell calls possible.
If your unsure , stay away from mcs.
the most hazardous behavior for your net worth in crypto is trying to make too much money too quickly
this invariably leads you to shift towards taking too much risk, into assets based more on hype than fundamentals
then you end up dramatically underperforming the “safe” plays
@dcinvestor Same premise for stock trading, I had a massive windfall which went south and learned this the hard way.
Since then it's been smart and deliberate 'DYOR' style investment in crypto, and it's been a lot safer, less stressful and more lucrative.
For those who don’t own ZED RUN horses - is there a specific reason you don’t own one? Looking to connect with NFT community members that know about the product but do not have a stable/own horses.
@JayZedRun 100% price. Absolutely believe in the project all the way, but unfortunately just priced out. Same goes for Axie and a bunch of other projects I'd love to try my hand at.
