This is one of the hardest days of my football career.
I’m devastated for our fans, for everyone at the club and for what this means after 7 years in the club and in the Premier League.
You deserved better from us.
Thank you for standing with us even in the toughest moments.
I truly believe the West Ham family will stay united and loyal through this difficult time, just as you always have.
Now it’s on us to respond the right way, work harder than ever and fight to bring West Ham back where it belongs.
Wolverhampton Wanderers taking points off Forest & Arsenal in the space of a week. We will not forget what you have done boys. Come straight back up
Kyle Walker Peters being the only player going over to support Scarles says all you need to know about the so called "leaders" in this team. In fact, it shows we have none whatsoever. Scarles made a mistake but the game was lost by the chances missed in the previous 86 minutes.
In all of this Amorim, Alonso and Slot discourse. You just have to appreciate Pep. He’s built a legacy so good that the club and fans would rather sell all 11 players on the pitch than sack him if they all spoke against him.
It is with deep sadness and the heaviest of hearts that West Ham United announces the passing this morning of legendary player, coach and manager, Billy Bonds MBE.
Rest in peace Billy, our courageous, inspirational, lion-hearted leader.
Freddie Potts is what we’ve been missing. Not just his ability but when we’re struggling for identity, academy products have served us well. Every now and again a top midfielder comes through. Carrick, Noble, Rice and now Potts. One of the most important players at the club imo.
