@isaacrrr7 Not quite accurate:
The programme introduced is voluntary, with large cash incentives to encourage self-selected returns, NOT compulsory deportation of those with residence permits.
A bonfire in N Ireland (for 12th July) with a replica mosque placed on top
An attack outside Noor Ul Islam Mosque in the Leyton, London
An elderly man assaulted & subjected to racist abuse
Islamophobic racism is being ignored by mainstream media
And ignored by politicians.
I woke up to the upsetting and worrying news - In Northern Ireland, they burned a model of a mosque with a sign stating "Secure our borders and end Islam." The police failed to stop it.
This is deeply offensive, Islamophobic, and frightening to Muslims living in Northern Ireland.
We are constantly under attack in the UK and nothing is being done. Andy Burnham - we need solutions.
🚨 BREAKING:
A solution proposed by an X user regarding the Strait of Hormuz has become a hot topic on social media.
Do you think it is logical, or a figment of imagination?
@saniyafatma1278 Duplicator (stencil duplicator).
One could type on "skins" (with no ribbon in the typewriter) to fracture the skins. Ink could be forced through the stencil to print in bulk.
I used one in the late 60's, but not as posh as this one.
Despite a century of competition and trillions spent on alternatives, oil, coal and gas still provide more than 80% of global energy.
And their use continues to rise, especially in countries that prioritize cost-effective power like China and India.
This is because fossil fuels deliver energy that is low-cost, on-demand, versatile and scalable, powering billions of people across thousands of industries.
Fossil fuels feed, clothe and shelter humanity, yet billions of people still lack access to reliable energy.
Three billion use less electricity than an American refrigerator. Almost 800 million have none at all. And 2.4 billion still burn wood or dung just to cook or stay warm.
Fossil fuels didn't cause that poverty, they're the only proven way out of it.
@Murk441 "Something the US is better at than any other country?"
- Dictating what countries can & can't do
- Self-appointed world police
- Selling arms/stimulate wars
- Trying to influence other countries
- Taxing the world
- Consume 40% of Earth's resources (only 4% of population)
