Dangote SADC Update

The Dangote Group is now prioritising the 2600km Namibia-Botswana-South Africa route instead for its pipeline, set to start this October, after Zimbabwe showed less commitment into the project. Zimbabwe is concentrating on increasing the capacity on the Feruka pipeline from Mozambique instead. The Zimbabwe-Zambia-DRC routes of the Dangote pipeline are now "possible future phases".
