@BeePlayingGames I honestly think we are at a point now where COD needs a break for 3 years, especially if it’s true that Treyarch’s next game might be an early 2000’s game, that means we are potentially looking at 4 straight years of modern era games if IW continue with the MW series in 2029.
@TheGamingRevo3 Where does Treyarch go from here though? They probably won’t touch the future era again for a while unfortunately, I can’t see many being excited for WW2 or a Cold War era game again and early 2000’s will still be too similar to modern day. It’s an uncertain future.
@froaklies No I think you are correct it was green on origins and buried, I think they have also updated the perk icons to be the slightly higher quality ones first seen on Mob of the Dead.
@DestinLegarie Thank god that more people are beginning to take notice of this issue.
It is disappointing considering backwards compatibility is a key selling point for many.
@MargwaNetwork@Smugstr What does ‘large’ actually mean though? Astra Malorum was described as a medium map and honestly it really doesn’t feel like it. Treyarch have very strange ways of describing map sizes in recent years.
@TH3_PR0V1D3R@MargwaNetwork@Smugstr Depends, if there are still 6 seasons planned then I reckon they will probably skip Season 6 as it will likely be a smaller/shorter season, if there are only 5 seasons due to budget cuts then there will be no gaps.
@FPSpsychoYT@TreyarchCM I also got to round 66 and it didn’t update on the leaderboard.
Apparently the last hour didn’t count but that’s not my fault Treyarch don’t know how to do a proper countdown.
With how much of a mess this entire event has been everyone should get everything tbh.
@RefundBlackOps7 It is inevitable that some BO6 weapons will carry forward but probably only the iconic weapons.
I’m thinking the following:
MP40, PPSH, FFAR, Olympia, FAL, XM4, SWAT-556 it was in BO2 originally. Maybe the Spectre.
I’m fine with weapons like the Model-L not coming back.
@CharlesJhallory@TheGamingRevo3 IW will fuck it up but they will have such an easy win with people that are disillusioned with the current trajectory of the franchise. They will market MW4 as a return to grounded military combat and the mass will eat the slop no matter how much the gameplay actually sucks.
@TheGamingRevo3 I think Cod campaigns in general need a rework. Enough with this interconnected story which makes no sense to begin with. You’re not telling me that the BO2 campaign happened a couple of years after MWII/MWIII.
They need to go back to self contained stories that are fulfilling.
@ZoneXbez Not a fan so far. Don’t see why they changed the original drop cycle. Also went from Round 1-7 earlier without a single drop and only had 2 double points by Round 15.
@ItzPerka Zombie AI and damage scaling will kill this mode if it isn’t balanced correctly. Round 50+ I believe zombies do 90 damage without armour meaning without probiotic you are 3 hits with Jug & with super sprinters in the mix, sounds miserable.
Surely need to change the health system.
@xpertfusion3 Perk icons the exact same style for 5 years now, it’s a small issue that won’t impact whether I enjoy the game but something that seems so small can make a massive difference to the games atmosphere.
Just seems kind of lazy.
@xpertfusion3 Hopefully this means that the only characters you can use in zombies are the zombies characters. We don’t need MP operators if we already have 8 characters to play as.
@MadcapGaming420@BlackIceSheep@doodoobunny101@Vondyispog 90 for standard kill (90)
120 for headshots (90+30)
150 for melee. (90+60)
The only difference is you would get a portion of the points as you damage the zombies but you will never exceed the above totals on one zombie.
@ZoneXbez@Ivansuko222 A better release schedule surely would have been:
Citadelle Des Morts: January
The Tomb: April (gives them time to expand the map)
Shattered Veil: July
Janus Towers: September
Saves having a 4 month gap between maps and also would stop speculation of a 5th map…
