@CaVivekkhatri Ola. I believe prople aren’t seeing the long term vision. Once they realise it, they will be late.
Ola can go -40 but upside potential is huge
Big Quality Turnaround at Ola Electric🛵
In FY25, Ola’s warranty costs exceeded ₹500 Cr (actually ₹555 Cr)
In FY26 → just ₹59 Cr.
That’s a ~90% drop.
What changed?
• Full shift to Gen 3 scooters (much more reliable)
• Gen 1 vehicles largely out of warranty
• Sharper diagnostics, faster service (TAT down from ~9 days to ~1 day)
• Better engineering & platform maturity
Management now expects warranty at just 2-3% of revenue — among the lowest in Indian EV 2W and competitive globally.
Warranty expense isn’t just a cost.
It’s a report card on product quality.
Huge positive for margins, cash flow & customer trust going forward.
Still early days — volumes need to recover and execution must sustain. But this is a very encouraging reset. @OlaElectric

#OlaElectric — 2024 vs 2026
In 2024 At the Time of the IPO - • Only #scooters were available — plagued with numerous technical issues and poor reliability • Very limited scooter range with few model options • No #cell manufacturing business whatsoever • No #Roadster Motorcycle in the pipeline • No #Shakti Inverters — zero presence in the #energy segment • No service centers — after-sales support was virtually non-existent • No #HyperService network of any kind • No spare parts inventory — customers struggled to get repairs done • Outdated operating system powering the vehicles.
Where #OlaElectric Stands Today(2026) - • #Scooters are technically refined, tested, and vastly improved • Expanded scooter range catering to multiple customer segments • 3 GWh #Cell Manufacturing facility ready for commercial production - with #Bharet cell 4680 already running in Ola vehicles and 6 GWh cell Manufacturering will be ready for commercial production by july End • 46100 NMC/LFP cell manufacturing ready by September end • #Roadster plus Motorcycle launched and commanding with 50% market share in Northern India • #Shakti Inverters added as a strong new revenue stream • Nationwide service center network established and operational • #HyperService rolled out for faster, more efficient customer support • Spare parts inventory maintained at every service center across the country • Advanced, updated operating system delivering a superior user experience.

🇮🇳 Ola Doesn’t Need China’s Rare Earth Anymore… 🛵
Ola Electric’s rare-earth-free ferrite motors are not just assembled in India — the core raw materials are abundantly available right here in our soil and industries.
Here’s the breakdown:
Ferrite Magnets (the heart of the motor)
• Made from Iron Oxide (Fe₂O₃ / Fe₃O₄) — a common byproduct of India’s massive steel industry.
• Combined with Strontium (Sr) or Barium (Ba) compounds — locally sourced and widely used in Indian chemical & ferrite industries.
• Chemical formula: Primarily Strontium Ferrite (SrFe₁₂O₁₉) — cheap, corrosion-resistant ceramic magnets.
Why this is a game-changer~💴
Costs ~1/10th of imported neodymium rare-earth magnets…
Zero dependence on China (which controls 70-90% of rare-earth supply)…
Better thermal stability (resists
demagnetization at high temperatures)
Ola’s magnet-assisted reluctance design (spoke-pattern ferrite magnets) delivers matching power, efficiency & durability to traditional PMSM motors (7 kW & 11 kW variants certified)…
Fully designed, developed & manufactured in-house at Ola’s facilities🛵
This tech is already powering scooters and Roadster motorcycles, with plans for three-wheelers, compact EVs, and Ola Shakti home batteries on the new Gen 4 platform.
Real Atmanirbhar innovation — from raw materials to finished product, all Made in India!
This is how Indian companies reduce costs and secure the future of EVs.

Most other Indian EV companies (Ather, Bajaj, TVS, Hero, Tata, Mahindra, etc.) still rely on imported rare-earth (neodymium) magnets from China for their PMSM motors.
Ola Electric’s EVs (scooters like S1 series, Roadster motorcycles, and upcoming models) are transitioning to in-house rare-earth-free ferrite motors.🛵
Key Import Figures (Latest Available)
• Quantity: ~53,700–53,748 tonnes of permanent/rare-earth magnets in FY25 (nearly double from ~28,700 tonnes in FY24).
• Value: $221.66 million for permanent magnets (largest category among critical minerals), up from $206 million previous year. China supplies 78–90%
