I don’t think it’s a case of data leak. I had a chat with one of the banker, who happens to be one of my client. He said me that there is a tie up with both GST and MCA for data of newly registered entities.

I recently got myself registered under GST and the very next day started receiving calls from all the private banks. The shocking part is same bank different branches are approaching and the bank with which I am already holding an account is also asking me to open an account.

@_sandysworld @flyingbeast320 Hi, while ordering they showed delivery date of 30th November but then they dispatched the product only on 30th November. It initially showed delivery on 5th December but was again delayed and delivered on 6th December.

Observed a pattern with D2C brands lately. Want a better discount? Try this:
1. Add product to cart.
2. Proceed to checkout.
3. Initiate payment, then cancel/close the tab.
4. Wait. ⏳

Within 30 mins, you’ll likely get a WhatsApp message with a sweeter coupon code to "complete your order."

One such example: I went to purchase protein from https://t.co/m443wgsdMX. Their site code "BLACKFRIDAY" gave ₹152 off. After ghosting the cart, I got "FRIDAY6" for ₹182 off. Small difference, but savings are savings! 📉💰

What is Stock Lending & Borrowing (SLB)? 🤔
Think of SLB as the Airbnb for your shares.

Traders (short sellers) need to borrow shares temporarily. You (the long-term investor) have shares sitting idle.

You lend them. They pay you interest (rent). You get your shares back later. 🤝

Why is this a big deal now? 🚀

For years, this was a VIP club for ultra-rich investors. 🎩 Dhan has democratized it. They are one of the first to make it: ✅ 100% Digital (No paperwork) ✅ Transparent (See live interest rates) ✅ Accessible to retail investors

But wait... is it safe? 🛡️

"What if the borrower runs away with my ITC shares?" 🏃‍♂️💨
They can't. The borrower doesn't know you, and you don't know them. The Clearing Corporation (NSCCL) guarantees the trade. The borrower posts a huge margin (often 125%+) to secure your assets.

The Biggest Myth: "I'll lose my Dividends!" 💸
FALSE. ❌
Even if your stock is lent out on the Record Date, you are still entitled to the economic benefit. The borrower is obligated to pay the dividend amount back to you. You don't lose out on corporate action benefits.

Okay, what's the catch? ⚠️
Liquidity.Once you lend a stock, it's usually locked for 1 month (until expiry).

If the stock pumps 20% tomorrow and you want to sell immediately? You can't. 🚫 You have to recall shares (which takes time) or wait for the contract to end.

💡 Rule: Only lend stocks you plan to hold for years.

The Costs? 💰
Dhan charges a flat 4.99% + GST on the rental income you earn. Compared to traditional brokers who take 15-20%, this is a steal. Also, to activate there is an upfront one time charge of ₹298.

It's "found money" on assets you were going to hold anyway.

Have tried making payments from various systems, browsers and even mobile, but nothing seems to be working.
