Chaired a review meeting on the National Cyber Crime Helpline 1930 and issued directions to accelerate Modi Ji's vision of strengthening cybersecurity and prompt relief to citizens.

Instructed that call centres across the nation be modernised by equipping them with cutting-edge technologies such as AI and Interactive Voice Response (IVR). Assured every support from the MHA for this purpose. Directed rapid implementation of the SOP to ensure a time-bound response to calls and swift restoration of money to victims of cyber fraud. Also emphasised robust measures to cull mule accounts.

#Haj2026 by Numbers

Approximately 1.75 lakh Indian Haj pilgrims successfully performed Haj in 2026, supported by a series of pilgrim-centric initiatives and coordinated efforts by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, the Haj Committee of India, the Indian Haj Mission and other stakeholders.

From operating 400+ flights and facilitating high-speed rail travel for 62,500 pilgrims to introducing the 20-day Short Haj Package availed by over 10,500 pilgrims, Haj 2026 reflected the Ministry’s commitment to delivering a safe, comfortable and seamless pilgrimage experience.

 As preparations for #Haj2027 begin, the focus remains on further enhancing pilgrim welfare through innovation and technology-enabled service delivery.
