No doubt Shreyas Iyer is a solid leader who won the IPL with KKR, but he struggled to get the best out of youngsters and inexperienced players, we saw it clearly in this IPL season.

Ishan, on the other hand, thrives under pressure and has a real gift for backing & elevating new talent. Just look at how he used youngsters at SRH early on and delivered results.

Under his captaincy this new and young Indian team would have performed very well from starting.
