Watching Wayne Rooney week in week out is the memory I most appreciate about being a Man Utd fan.
It’s not that he “could do everything.”
He did do everything.
Mourinho benched Pogba/Matic to play a very raw Scott McTominay, now a Serie-A MVP winner. No flair but the determination of that boy was impressive. That's what we get from the academy lads We sold him to make way for who? Ugarte? How did that work?
Now we have a RB, LB, CF, CB, LW crisis. You can't tell me absolutely no one in the academy can fill in those positions, even if temporarily. Armer can't play worse than Heaven did yesterday. Lacey was better in 5 minutes than Amad whole game.

Confirmed: Man City’s 28 Dec 2020 midweek PL game at Everton was postponed hours before kick-off due to a COVID outbreak (Walker, Jesus + more positives).
Everton sat 3rd on 29 pts from 15 games and in strong form under Ancelotti. City were 8th on 26 pts from 14, improving but not yet dominant.
The fixture was replayed 17 Feb 2021; City won 3-1. The “Everton would’ve won” claim is speculative.
@blacknwhitefut There’s a player in there. His attributes are good. I just do not rate what I’ve seen from him. IMO he’s been partly responsible for 3 goals in 4 games. And 2 of them follow the same pattern of him not tracking his runner.
Jason Wilcox played for Blackburn and fought united for the league title in the 90s, he then signed for Leeds.. after retiring from the game he had a few roles in media before going to city , he stayed there for 11 years.
He's not got one ounce of united in him, fuck that guy
@theamericandesi Baleba has ridiculous highlights but the more you watch him, the more you take note of lots of "little mistakes" adding up over and over again.
Too overeager on the dribbles, covers space off ball with weird inconsistency and wildly inconsistent ball striker. Still very raw.
@clawandpaws@Cinema_Cravezz That’s pretty much what Reeves’ plan was before Gunn came in. Clayface was pitched for his batverse and taken by Gunn.
They had an Arkham series pitched and Gunn took it for his DCU before it got cancelled.
Utd would've been reaping the benefits of Scott during all these years that the club's been in the mud employing low level quality players such as Ugarte with zero connection to Utd.
A stain on what was once a great institution that backed and believed in its own.
Baleba is too dumb for that. 🤦🏽♂️
When an opponent is making a run in a dangerous area, especially around your own box, you track him instead of assuming your teammate has the ball and switching off.
Yoro failed to clear the ball, and the player Baleba carelessly allowed to run free ended up scoring. That’s poor defensive awareness and decision-making.
@kwadwosheldon You're focusing only on Yoro, but look at the bigger picture here. The lack of coordination from Heaven, Baleba, and Dalot is criminal. None of them tracked back properly to help him out or offer a passing option to receive the ball under pressure.
@REALdemdizzy & McTominay scored the most goals of any DM in the league in open play. Only Jorginho scored more and that was from taking pens.
The league has Pep, Klopp and Tuchel but the quality was down why? Because we were better than 2 of them despite little investment
Y’all think Napoli fans are asking why Mctominay isn’t creating more?
Because when McTominay had the most open play goals of any defensive midfielder in the premier league in 19/20 and 20/21 combined that’s what Mark Goldbride used to push the agenda against him.
Scott McTominay is the midfielder who has scored the most headed goals across all competitions: (11) in the top 5 European leagues since 24/25.
@OptaPaolo
@HarshTruthsHQ Most quality of the teams were down around that time, we were far away from 1st despite finishing second, and the goals mostly csme from Rashford, martial; Cavani, greenwood, Bruno
