Deeply concerned over the long-pending issues of SBI employees which have now led to the proposed nationwide strike on 25th & 26th May 2026.

Non-recruitment of Messengers for decades, shortage of Armed Guards despite rising security concerns, increasing outsourcing, and denial of NPS rights to employees are serious matters requiring urgent intervention.

Public Sector Banks are pillars of the nation’s economy and employees are their backbone. Their legitimate concerns must be heard and resolved through meaningful dialogue.

I urge Hon’ble Finance Minister @nsitharaman Ji and the concerned authorities to intervene immediately in the interest of employees, banking services, and public confidence.
