The 2-day Regional Workshop on FNHW in Ranchi (July 22nd-23rd) was attended by various CEOs, SRLMS officials from 14 States and civil society organisations. The Hon'ble Rural Development Minister, Government of Jharkhand, Smt. Dipika Pandey Singh, graced the proceedings by lighting the lamp & delivered a powerful address. The Minister highlighted that "Health is Wealth" which underpins the rural development agenda, and that all new schemes must prioritize social indicators. She emphasized that SHGs are truly game-changers, ensuring door-to-door implementation of schemes to reach every household. The future focus strategy should extend to mental well-being of rural women & the scaling up of rural industrialization.
She also launched the Health & Poshan Toolkit, Swasthya Card, & Poshan Menu prepared by the Madhya Pradesh SRLM team, paving the way for informed, healthier rural communities.
