NEW SERIES ANNOUNCEMENT: Singularity Love: A Kenji Tsurubuchi Collection
From the creator of Touge Oni: Primal Gods in Ancient Times comes this collection of short manga! A romance about a boy who sees a pillar of light, a search for a time machine among the remnants of human civilization, a visit to a shop specializing in fairies, and more—these stories feature an imaginative blend of history and mythology!
@tern_inca@scratchthatout Personally I think that Harta has quite a few titles that are written more for a female audience (or general audience) rather than for men. And that this title is one of them from what I know about it.
(Of course that doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s still seinen)
Ooh looks like a Harta title got nominated for the “girl/woman” category in the Renta Awards.
“Fancy Kakumei” (ファンシー革命)
It does seem to be a series that would appeal more towards a female demographic (I haven’t read it) which might be why it ended up in this category
Renta Award nominations are out, and I'm actually surprised about the shoujosei category! apart from a few predictable picks (Unexciting Date, for example), there's a lot of series I don't even recognise at first glance! Pretty neat to see stuff like this and get some insight.
@tern_inca@scratchthatout Technically Yes!
I believe this title was categorized as “female manga” due to it appealing more towards the female demographic than male. It is what I guess you could call a more “feminine” harta title, so despite being seinen it’s likely geared towards girls/women.
Speaking of the Renta Awards looks like 3 Harta titles got nominated in the “Boys/Youth Category”
- Captain, No Problem!
(船長、問題ありません!)
- Gokuraku ni wa Mada Hayai
(極楽にはまだ早い)
- Kami-chan
(かみちゃんがいればマル)
From Delicious in Dungeon to My Oh My, Atami, Harta Magazine has produced countless manga that continue to dazzle and delight!
