Once again @tea covertly posts new STAAR rubrics without making an announcement. I realize Oct. 7 was yesterday, but no letter to the administrator addressed was sent. If I hadn't been working on tests this morning, I'd never found them.
Rubrics are HERE๐๐ผ

Tried implementing a total body response in my writing lesson today to reinforce the characteristics of good freewriting! Thank you @eagertolearnSoo for modeling TBR during our PD yesterday! โบ๏ธ #Disclaimer - anyone else hate hearing their own voice on video?! ๐๐ ๐ผโโ๏ธ๐
@Maryleehernan10@Amplify We use @LucyCalkins curriculum so I implement the reading workshop model! 10-15 min mini lesson, 40 minute independent workshop (indep. reading, conferences, small groups, & mid-workshop teach), & 5-10 min share/reflection at the end! Scheduling is a challenge, so I feel you!
Look at these amazing kids at work, practicing partner talk to push their thinking with โI agree b/cโฆโ & โI disagree b/cโฆโ statements. โฅ๏ธ S/O @Amplify for some great small group resources!
Rounded out today learning about Sheltered Instruction from @eagertolearnSoo, who did an amazing job of both modeling and empowering all our @PinkElementary teachers to meet the needs of all our learners! #FISDmadetoshine
Ms. Hartman used her creative artistic side to support her EB with comprehensible input on inference. Her drawing of story elements on sticky notes are a great way to provide purposeful visuals for EBs in small group meetings!! Awesome idea, @HartmanCecily! @PinkElementary
