My students became published authors today! They worked so hard on their class book “If I Could Be…” and we had a publishing party to celebrate. Everyone looked wonderful in their fancy attire ✨📚 @FranklinLocal
In STEM this week, students created a pair of antlers out of craft sticks and pipe cleaners. Students then had to see how many Christmas bulbs their antlers could hold in a minute. The school’s record was twenty-six, held by a second grade class.
After reading and discussing the theme of “Balloons Over Broadway” students created floats for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade designed around a specific theme.📚🦃 #dfe#fifthgrade#thehistoryof#macysthanksgivingdayparade
I’m excited to announce the winner of the 5th grade class shirt (at home STEM challenge). The creation will be sent off and made into a real class shirt. Congrats Aryka!!
