@sjsjdhsj11@beinlibertarian Trust me, I didn't. I had only hoped he would actually do what he was talking about. I didn't believe either of them enough to give either a vote
@sjsjdhsj11@beinlibertarian My only wish is that he would have actually cut all the things we hoped he would. There's nothing the government does that a private entity couldn't accomplish better and more efficiently
@knowpagne@RapSheet If this were likely to be a major factor in his production this year, things would be far more bleak regarding his timeline, especially regarding training camp. He was already participating in rookie mini camp and things look good
@knowpagne@RapSheet Your original claim wasn't that he would be affected this year, it was that he'd be out of the league in two years, partially because of his ankle last year. There may be some minor impact on this year but there's nothing in his recovery so far that predicts a major falling off
@knowpagne@RapSheet That doesn't in any way affect how well he's healed so far, which has been incredibly optimistic implying he won't likely lose much of a step if any at all. The injury isn't likely to affect his strength which is his low center of gravity and ability to run through tackles
@JamesLackey260@knowpagne@RapSheet Apparently it didn't cause a problem from elementary school through college so I don't see anything to stress about.
@knowpagne@RapSheet I'm of the opinion that considering his healing has him on track to be back for training camp, his strength is his mindset and willingness to run through people not long speed, it shouldn't be a major issue.
@simon_saying@SeanM1727@LPMisesCaucus@mattvanswol They're pushing for Massie to run for president... I don't think they're as pro Trump as you believe. They definitely agree on some things, but they're definitely not MAGA. They're also not progressive though so not sure what Sean was talking about
@LeeKurtiss You guys will notice how she cannot dispute my points so she goes straight to ad hominem and buzzwords like "mansplaining". This debate was over before it began.
@LeeKurtiss@grok@SteveJonesmt@iky_fwjett I'm sorry that your worldview is so narrow that you perceive anyone who analyzes the information available and comes to a different conclusion as wrong, but that's simply not how the world works. There was discrimination, but not to the level you imply.
@LeeKurtiss@grok@SteveJonesmt@iky_fwjett By the way, ~58% of colleges allowed women to attend as of around 1900. This idea of mass discrimination against women as late as 1965 is nothing more than myth.
@LeeKurtiss@grok@SteveJonesmt@iky_fwjett I'm sorry that you didn't understand when I said the perspectives of people who were alive at the time, it meant men and women alike who I know. Most people probably would have gotten that but it was wrong of me to assume that you would.
@LeeKurtiss@grok@SteveJonesmt@iky_fwjett I wasn't co-signing what Steve said. I wasn't alive in 1965, therefore I can only rely on statistics, cultural norms at the time and shortly beforehand, and the perspectives of people I know who were alive at that time to discern the truth
@LeeKurtiss@grok@SteveJonesmt@iky_fwjett It's not just law school, women outpace men in college attendance in general. There was some discrimination affecting the numbers in the 60's and there's some discrimination affecting men now, but I don't believe it was the primary reason for the numbers in either case
@LeeKurtiss@grok@SteveJonesmt@iky_fwjett It was likely a lot to do with women just beginning to transition into the workforce more around that time & that's why it was male dominated at that time. It's majority women now bc there's more focus on women going to college and they get accepted easier than men these days
