Today, in maths, we had great fun using our new Promethean boards. We created different types of patterns to decorate Christmas trees! Can you spot our patterns that repeat, that use doubles or are symmetrical? @hartsholmeacad @HarbourLearning #maths

In our science lesson today we found out that a storm had blown an animal shed down. We used our knowledge of materials to design a new one and made it using the materials we’d chosen. Next week we will test them to see if they are waterproof 🤞🏼@hartsholmeacad @HarbourLearning

In craft club today we looked at the different colours and shapes of fireworks and the children created their own artwork using pastels. We then had great fun making chocolate sparklers! 🎆

Year 1 thoroughly enjoyed their time on the laptops this afternoon, exploring purple mash and creating their own Avatar. The children loved making funny creations! We learnt how to log on safely and how to navigate our purple mash accounts. @HarbourLearning @hartsholmeacad
