The observant amongst you may spot the new smudgy borders with pseudo notations inspired by the great Loie Hollowell who does something like this on many of her drawings.
I've been obsessing over the borders of this project for months and feel now I may have finally cracked it.
Day D-3 for "Frank"🔥
Last piece from my documentary on "Frank".
"Frank" is not about a past war. Unfortunately these realities still exist today.
This algorithm carries a universal message:

David Hockney died today at the age of 88.
For me, easily the greatest picture maker of the last 50 years.
Known for his relentless work ethic and legendary enthusiasm for life he often signing his work with the phrase "Love Life".
Lawrence Alma-Tadema translated into palette fields.
His paintings are often remembered for marble. Their color is just as distinctive: soft stone tones punctuated by celadons, lilacs, pale blues, and warm terracottas.

advant gay art over on Sol might be where the real punk movement within digital art is emerging right now.
it is raw, expressively powerful and is proud of its lack of etiquette. it's playing by its own rules.
to me, it feels like its being created by real grassroots artists, not by market strategists or tech nerds. nor does it feel tainted by crypto bro culture.
without pretending to be advant gay, jankpop is my own code art response to this evolving creative energy blended with my long held fascination with mid 20th C abstract expressionism.
as an artist i've come to appreciate that whilst looking forward, i will always have my feet firmly planted in the past. i don't need to try an deceive anyone that i'm creating something at the cutting edge of any particular movement. making art that draws on the energy from anything that currently excites me from any period in history is where i find most artistic fulfillment.
i can't honestly provide a well crafted narrative about what this all means. my response is not an intellectual one. it is entirely visual, emotional and spiritual. jankpop is just a fucked-up ecstatic joy i feel deep in my marrow. i'm having too much fun to burden my work flow with heavy left-brained BS for now.
