We had a fantastic day in Boulogne sur Mer with Yr8 today. We visited Nausicaá, the old town and Auchan. The sun shone and lots of French was spoken.

As of 7.00pm yesterday, this was the position of the HGS teams in the @GHCQ Languages Competition.
We have 2 in the top 100 nationally. There are 3000 teams taking part!
This is fantastic & we are very proud of the effort, participation & teamwork.

We had a few minor issues logging on at lunchtime but we persevered.

Next week our Yr9 students are taking part in @GCHQ’s National Language Competition, which aims to inspire language learning through code breaking tasks & puzzles in competition with other schools from around the UK.
