Some of my thoughts - regarding Destiny 2, wanting a D3, Project Sunrise, D1 remaster, leaks, etc.:

Destiny 1/2 was a huge part of many of our lives. You're not alone. Many of us went through the trenches together. But...

IT'S OKAY TO LET GO.

The inevitable has happened. The game will be no more. And everything is outside of your control. It will always be an era that you can reminisce about, but I fear many are just lingering on the doom, causing depressing energy to roam about.

Many are also desperately reaching every chance they get: Leak here. Leak there. Oh shit, something's coming. I heard this. I heard that. And on and on. This not only is pathetic, but it's causing a divide and false hope amongst others. If you really need those extra clicks and engagement, you do you. But it's getting old tbh.

As for Project Sunrise/D1 Remaster, I personally think this is just kinda... lame. And a depressing, hopeless attempt to hang on to a situation that's broken its ways with you. Same thing goes with a D1 Remaster. It'd be "hype" for a bit, sure. But it'd very quickly fall into the same void as the rest of the (now cooked) franchise.

If your entire personality is Destiny and you don't even like other games (you ONLY like Destiny), then this is sadly where you and gaming part ways. Come to terms with it and move on.

If you're an open gamer, there are SO MANY games out there that you have been missing out on. I encourage you to step outside your comfort zone and explore other titles. This is the best way. It's like when you go through a breakup. You can deal with it by fucking other hot, shirtless guys lmao.

And if you're a content creator who plans on clinging tightly to Destiny, I truly believe you gotta start thinking about exit plans from D2 and what's next for you. The reality is that D2 Twitch/YouTube numbers will eventually start to decline and they will never come back. It's just gonna be a downward arrow. Make a move, please. I have so many friends in this space that I care about. The longer you wait to transition, the worse it's gonna be.

Anyways, sorry for rant. I'm out.
