@AdamBazaldua Final motion: Approval of staff recommendations for 42 census tracks to submit to Governor Abbott’s office for consideration to be designated an Opportunity Zone (2.0). Councilmembers will have until June 15th to pull a track from consideration. Passes unanimously.

City of Dallas Economic Development Committee is discussing “Opportunity Zones 2.0” to submit for recommendation to Governor’s office.

South Dallas Fair Park area continues to be a highly qualified area.

Need much better distribution of why to developers this time if selected.
