On March 2nd, Lieutenant Governor Dianne Primavera came out to learn about Colorado Springs Food Rescue's Hillside Hub project. Haseya's Indigenous Healing Garden is part of that project so we were able to tell her about the work we are doing too.
In February Haseya Staff was able to sit in on UCHealth’s IHS Skills Lab Training. We met with SANE nurses from all over Indian Country. This was a great learning exchange; we were able to share cultural information with them. Very thankful for this opportunity!

There are many faces of sex traffickers. Some traffickers become romantically involved with someone, then forces or manipulates them into prostitution. They may be a stranger, or even someone as close as a family member or ‘friend.’
