I plugged 25 miners into three different wall meters, and the results were shocking. 🔌

While the wall meter readouts were roughly the same, the dashboard numbers were all over the place. In some cases, the wall meters reported 30% more usage than the dashboard displayed.

Hashboard Dev Corner, Episode 1: What is SmartMiner, and why do you need it if you care about accurate data? 👀

I'm no video guru, but decided to start a small "Dev Corner" series where I break down some of my favorite things in @HashboardApp. Episode 1 is on SmartMiner; it's one of my most favorite features in the app, personally.

1. It's the only way to get the 100% truth as it pertains to power, current, efficiency and costs. All data otherwise is an estimate, off by a lot more than you'd expect as you’ll see in the video. You can only get this in Hashboard. 👀

2. A lot of us overclock and live in climates where ambient room temps fluctuate; using SmartMiner temp, you can automate keeping your overclock maxed out while avoiding overheating. No more annoying manual adjustments, or leaving hash rate on the table when things cool down periodically.

Make sure you have captions on; iPad mic wasn't happy with all the fan noise lol. Hope you enjoy, and please let me know if you have any questions! There's a setup guide linked in the app, too. 🫡
