The video from Jamui, Bihar is deeply disturbing.

Two Class 10 students were stopped on a road. Harassed. Humiliated. Molested. A young girl, hands folded, begged to be let go while goons groped her and dragged her away.

Who gave these men the right to behave like this? This is not "culture." It is patriarchy: the belief that any man can police a girl's body, her movement, her choices.

When control is mistaken for culture, and such attitudes are normalised by Andhbhakts, mobs start believing they are the law.

Every individual in that video must be identified and prosecuted under POCSO, and justice must be swift. And if the incident happened on September 19th, why are the culprits not behind bars yet?

And the Bihar government must answer why a girl is not safe on a public road at 7 pm?

10वीं क्लास के एक छात्र और छात्रा को रास्ते में जबरदस्ती रोक लिया गया। उन्हें प्रताड़ित किया गया, अपमानित किया गया और छात्रा के साथ उत्पीड़न किया गया। बच्ची हाथ जोड़कर उसे जाने देने की विनती करती रही, मगर गुंडे उसे गलत तरीके से छूते और खींचतान करते रहे।

इन लोगों को ऐसी बदतमीज़ी करने का हक किसने दिया? यह "संस्कृति" नहीं है, यह patriarchy है: ये सोच कि किसी भी पुरुष का किसी लड़की के शरीर, उसके आने-जाने और उसकी पसंद-नापसंद पर नियंत्रण है।

जब नियंत्रण को ही संस्कृति मान कर 'अंधभक्त' ऐसी सोच को सामान्य ठहराते हैं, तो भीड़ को लगने लगता है कि वही कानून है।

उस वीडियो में दिख रहे हर व्यक्ति की पहचान होनी चाहिए और उन अपराधियों पर POCSO के तहत मुकदमा चलाकर उन्हें जल्द से जल्द सजा मिलनी चाहिए। और अगर ये घटना 19 सितंबर की है तो गुनहगार अब तक सलाखों के पीछे क्यों नहीं हैं?

और बिहार सरकार जवाब दे कि शाम 7 बजे कोई लड़की राज्य की सड़कों पर सुरक्षित क्यों नहीं है?

“Humanity First”, said PM Modi at the BRICS Summit & in BJP Ruled State West Bengal, this is the deliberately designed state of atrocity on a Muslim Community.

💧A Muslim community of around 5,000 people in Jyotinagar Colony, Kolkata, India, has been without running water since July 29.

The disruption followed pipeline work and has been linked by residents to a pending eviction order issued by Kolkata Port authorities.

They said the water supply was intentionally cut, noting that taps immediately outside the colony continue to receive water.

The local BJP MLA, Ritesh Tiwari, who had previously pledged not to assist Muslim constituents, has denied any involvement in the disruption.

Hang your heads in shame, BJP voters and supporters for this trauma and lack of humanity will haunt you till Karma strikes each one of you down in similar ways sooner or later. Depriving humans for water is the worst sin anyone can do.

मोदी सरकार ने चुपचाप UPI पर फ़ीस लगाने का रास्ता खोल दिया है।

अब ₹2,000 से ऊपर के merchant UPI लेन-देन पर MDR लगाया जा सकता है। इन ट्रांजैक्शंस की संख्या भले ही सिर्फ़ 5% हो, लेकिन UPI के कुल transaction value का करीब 65% इन्हीं में है।

सरकार कहती है कि ग्राहक से कोई फ़ीस नहीं ली जाएगी। लेकिन दुकानदार पर लगने वाली फ़ीस आखिर आएगी कहां से? कीमतों में जुड़कर ग्राहक की जेब से।

अमेरिकी payment कंपनियां लंबे समय से भारत की zero-MDR नीति का विरोध करती रही हैं। अब मोदी सरकार ने ठीक उसी दिशा में नीति बदलने का रास्ता खोल दिया है।

US Trade Deal की तरह ही, Compromised PM मोदी एक बार फिर अमेरिकी दबाव के सामने surrender कर रहे हैं।

When this attack happened, I personally went to the DCP and asked him to arrest these goons. The DCP replied, “We can’t arrest people randomly.”

I told him, “The attack happened right in front of the police. How can you say you can’t arrest them?”

To which the DCP replied, “You are free to go to the courts”

Outrageous impunity! This goon attempted murder of a Dalit man and while in Police custody, made calls to Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra for his release and to pressure them to not add section 307. This is illegal interference with Police investigation.

All this while, the peaceful protesters at Jantar Mantar were being read the rule book, beaten up, threatened with cases, and FIRs even filed. Why should Kapil Mishra not resign for protecting a potential murderer and be a co-accused as accessory to a crime? Had he not interfered, the @DelhiPolice ought to have arrested Bhardwaj and his gang!

दिल्ली NCR महिलाओं के लिए इतना असुरक्षित हो चुका है कि एक नाबालिग बच्ची के साथ एक स्लीपर बस में 47 किलोमीटर तक गैंगरेप हुआ - ग्रेटर नोएडा से दिल्ली तक।

हैरानी की बात है कि पूरी दिल्ली या नोएडा पुलिस को इसकी भनक तक नहीं लगी। यह बस नोएडा-ग्रेटर नोएडा एक्सप्रेसवे, दिल्ली का रिंग रोड, बॉर्डर - सब पार कर गई, बिना एक भी चेकपोस्ट पर रोके गए।

बस की सीटों पर पर्दे लगे थे, ताकि अंदर क्या हो रहा है कोई देख न सके। और अपराधियों में प्रशासन का कोई डर भी नहीं।

निर्भया के बाद इतने सालों में, इतनी घटनाओं के बाद भी ऐसी बसों की जाँच और निगरानी के नियमों का पालन क्यों नहीं हो रहा?

पर्दे सिर्फ़ उस बस में नहीं डाले गए थे - साल दर साल सरकार द्वारा प्रशासन की नाकामियों पर डाले गए पर्दों का नतीजा है कि देश की राजधानी में भी महिलाएं एक सुरक्षित सफर नहीं कर सकतीं।

और कितनी महिलाओं और बच्चियों के साथ ऐसा होना बाक़ी है, तब जाकर केंद्र और राज्य सरकारें इस व्यवस्था को ठीक करेंगी?

क्या अमित शाह के अधीन दिल्ली पुलिस और आदित्यनाथ के अधीन UP पुलिस की जवाबदेही तय की जाएगी? कोई गुंजाइश ही नहीं - इस अपराध पर भी एक पर्दा डाल दिया जाएगा।
