I will post one NFT every morning and tell a short story about it in the coming days.

Let's start with the probably most important NFT, the following @HashmasksIntern (we've sadly lost access to the original Twitter account) Hashmask:

I bought it for roughly 1 ETH when they announced the PFP airdrop.

Shortly afterward, the current DAO was replaced with a more permanent team, and holding this NFT made me eligible to apply for a position.

I became part of the team and got to learn what it takes to run an NFT project, even though it was a special case, as the team didn't "own" the project but just ran the treasury and could not work on the website for many months or update the contract etc.

So it was like running a marathon with your shoes tied.

But I still learned a lot and met many great people along the way.

Esp. during @NFT_NYC 2022. I met @outerlumen, @VPopulo, @8mmag, and many Hashmask holders.

I'm still part of the team today, but most others have moved on, so not much is happening at the moment. The team worked for several months without any pay.

It's still one of the most iconic NFT projects and could be revived with the right people behind it.

It may happen one day.

But no matter what, I'll be forever grateful for the moments this jpeg allowed me to experience. 🫶
